After much searching and trial and error I managed to find a direct drop in replacement headphone socket for the X-CAN V2 and X-CANS. Made by JALCO it's a professional grade high quality low profile PCB mounting stereo jack socket with stylish chrome ring bezel which not only looks better than the stock headphone socket it also performs a lot better. Smoother in operation with better quality contacts assures you're getting the best possible connection between your headphones and the amp. Replacing the headphone socket with the pro grade JALCO couldn't be simpler:
Desolder the stock headphone socket from the PCB
Fit the Jalco and solder to the board
JALCO headphone socket in place, it really does add style to the front panel.
