Balance control removal
|
||||
| I couldn't see the point in a balance control so decided to remove the offending article. It's a simple enough process and involves fitting two links in place of the balance control. The picture below shows the links in place and the red lines indicate where the links should go. I linked on the top of the PCB but you could also link on the underside of the board. | ||||

Earthing the potentiometer

| Very important to remember to earth the potentiometer to the earth point on the PCB (the earth hole is right next to the pot) The idea is to firmly clamp the earth wire between the nut and housing of the potentiometer. | ||||
